Come see where the locals love to shop!
Come See Why College Park is One of Orlando's Best Shopping Destinations and Shop Small While Supporting Local, This Holiday Season.
The concentration of quaint boutiques and locally owned businesses make College Park a shoe in for one of Orlando's best shopping destinations. With dozens of small businesses and even more locally owned eateries, you can easily fill an entire afternoon with all that this Orlando 'mainstreet' has to offer. So put it on your list of places yo visit, this holiday season!
When you get here, you'll quickly see why many begin their day at Gratitude Coffee, located at 1307 Edgewater Dr. Jen offers the most delicious selection of espresso drinks & teas in an adorable atmosphere, focused on giving. Our personal fave is the lavender and honey latte with a Gezellig cookie on the side! After you've satisfied your caffeine craving, continue down to the 2300 block of Edgewater Drive (there is plenty of public parking in the garage of the Wellesley building), and if it's early, make a stop in the College Park Cafe for some of the yummiest old fashioned 'diner' style breakfast goodies around. We promise, you won't regret fueling your morning here. The cafe is only open until 2pm, but if you miss it, don't despair! The brand new Blended Cafe is right next door and our new favorite lunch spot! Grab some delicious egg rolls and a bubble tea to sip as you stroll the rest of Edgewater Drive.
Next on the 2300 block, you'll come to Driftwood Market, Orlando's favorite gift boutique and the 2018 Orlando A-List winner for 'Best Gift Shop'. From the second you pass their festive window displays to the first step you take into the store, you'll be transported into a beautiful winter wonderland. With their hand curated collection of gifts, decor and fashion and their laid back atmosphere, it's easy to get lost in the spirit of the season here. Driftwood Market boasts a mixture of local makers and your favorite national brands, making it easy to find something for everyone on your list.
After visiting Driftwood Market, another College Park staple is the lovely Annabelle's where you'll find the most beautiful collection of holiday decor and the much sought after College Park favorite, Corkcicle line. After visiting, you'll see why their customers come back time and time again. Continuing your way down this block of Edgewater, you'll then arrive at the beautiful St. Nick's Holiday Shop, an upscale Christmas boutique with a wide variety of products, including exquisite holiday decor and a few vintage favorites. Continuing just around the corner on Vassar St, you'll find Cookie Cousins, with beautifully decorated cookies-the perfect midday snack. (Another local bakery of note, just a bit further down Edgewater, is Sugarbuzz Dezzert Co. You won't regret the trip, we promise!)
After you finish this side of the 2300 block, we recommend crossing Edgewater where you'll find tons of lunch and dinner dining spots including Armando's, Eden's Fresh, Graffiti Junction, The Pie, Tartine and Adriatico, all within a two block stretch. On this side of the street you'll also find Sassy Pants Activewear Boutique, purveyor of the most delightful gifts for the 'active' lady on your shopping list.
Just a few blocks away, you can also find Gatorlilly's for all things Lilly Pulitzer, Karma Kulture for boho gifts, Form Function Form for leather goods, ApenBerry's Garden Center, the locally owned Ace Hardware and the Soda Fountain, full of nostalgia and yummy treats. Top Drawer & Dechoes offer unique consignment shopping options and Woof! is a must shop for the pet lover on your list. We couldn't end our mention of the best shopping in College Park without mentioning Let Us Frame It, a custom framing boutique on Edgewater Drive. Visit this quaint little shop for the perfect custom gift this holiday season and tell Jill we sent you!
We can't wait for you to #ShopLocalOrlando in #Destination32804, this holiday season!
